Q: Why are new proxy sites only sent out on weekdays and not on weekends and holidays?
A: Our research has shown that a majority of users only use the proxy sites they receive on weekday mornings. Only approximately 12% of our subscribers check on weekends and only approximately 8% check the proxy sites on Holidays. We have also found that if users get proxy sites over the weekend they are less likely to use those the following week than they are the proxy sites we send out Monday mornings. This would make it unfair to the sites we promote and their owners to randomly send some on the weekends.
Q: Why do you guys list the location of each proxy? All I really need is the site.
A: We supply proxy users with information to help them make an informed decision on what proxy sites to try. Proxy sites are notoriously slow so adding in the location will allow users to find sites closer to them and hopefully that will help the transfer speed. [e.g. a proxy user in europe might want to try a server in europe before one located in the USA]
Q: Why do you list the age of each proxy?
A: Again, we want to supply users with all of the information they need to make an informed choice of a proxy server. We ask proxy owners to give us an honest estimated age of their proxy becuase this will help proxy users decide whether or not to even try the site. Older proxy sites are more likely to have been blocked by system administrators.
